In 2014 we started a "Cowboy Day" tradition as a day to remember Grandpa Maynard. He loved all things western. Dusty and his siblings have fond memories of watching cowboy movies with him and eating Mexican Popcorn (delicious!). He also had a bag of pesos, and the grandkids would gather around in their western hats as he taught them to put on their best poker faces and gamble for the biggest pile of loot. So we picked a day to have family gather for much of the same kind of fun. Cowboy hats, games and more! This year we added some horse wranglin', a shoot out, and a pinata.

The kiddos won cowboy coins during the games, and got to spend them at the country store.
